Fences For Fido

This weekend, was the 2nd annual Pints for Pups fundraiser for Fences for Fido!
A wonderful non-profit, whose mission is to build fences and "Unchain...one dog at a time".

Friday and Saturday, Pups of all sizes from around the town, brought their people down to Portland U-Brew and Pub, to have a beer, some food, listen to live music and support a good cause.
There were smiles.

and wags...

lots of visiting.

Alsea the Border, peed in the pool...Bwah ha ha!

But it was quickly dumped, rinsed and filled, so that others could swim too!

We made a new friend, 'Newcastle Johansen'

He is a big goofy Airedale with a great sense of fun!

....And where are we (Wyatt and Stanzie), you ask? At home :(
Somebody thought that it would be too hot and we should stay home!!
You can clearly see, that there was shade and a pool and refreshments and it was NOT too hot!
And there was another Airedale to play with.....Bad Mom, Bad Dad!

Next year we are going to 'Pints for Pups'!!

Wyatt and Stanzie

  10. Your Mum and Dad should have researched the events more thoroughly....that's our opinion. No excuse for leaving you at home! Look at all those other dogs.

  19. THE NERVES!!! Leavin' you guys at homes while they're out traipsing around with other pups??!! Holy cows. Well, I hopes you taught them a lesson abouts abandonment. Like lots of treaties and ice creams are in order, when this kind of tragedy occurs!!
I likes that other Airedale...looks like a fun doggie!!
    Kisses,
    Ruby ♥
