  5. OMD OMD O M D !! Wyatt I really really wish I could send you some of MY RED tomatoes. I have given them away... Canned them... eaten them... frozen them... and even resorted to the daring... drive by fruiting of some neighbors who made the foolish mistake of not being home to say... NO.. we do NOT want 3 grocery bags of Tomatoes. hehehe When they asked if "I" was the one who left all the tomatoes on their porch... "I" swore that it was NOT me. BaWaaaaah
We even gave one neighbor FOUR 5gal. buckets full of tomatoes... They canned them for two days. hehehe
They are STILL getting ripe... and now many many are rotting on the vines.
SOOOOOOOO buddy... think Fried Green Tomatoes
Green Tomato Salsa, and Green Tomato Pickles.
We are having some of all three next week.. just for a bit of variety.

  7. Hello....Thank the good Lord that you posted this sale because I am in serious need of some green tomatoes because I can't find any in the New Hampshire grocery stores or farm stands! I used to live in Florida where fried green tomato sandwiches were considered a delicacy and guess what? I want a fried green tomato sandwich on my plate in NH but I don't know if I'll ever get lucky enough to find that elusive green tomato anywhere sooooo if you are willing to travel I am willing to pay you (even though they are free) in dog treats. Woof!

  14. Our tomatoes are pretty much done here, I'm afraid. There are some green ones left on the vine, but they don't seem like they're going to get ripe ever!

  16. Hi Wyatt,

Thanks for following my blog. It is nice to meet you. :)

Like you, we had a lot of green tomatoes this year. We also had tons and tons of cucumbers and zucchinis.. maybe it's just a particularly green year? Hm!

Gardening's dwindling down to it's final days here now, though. A couple more tomatoes, if we're lucky, and that'll be it.

  23. This year there's just less of everything. Our little tomatoes are still ripening. Alanis loves them and Miro loves to play with them.

    Green tomatoes make great chutney!

  24. Hey Wyatt!
Great produce stand! Very professional. Pretty pricey too. My cousin Frankie has more tomatoes than you can shake a stick at. (Did someone say stick! Throw the stick, throw the stick!) I can't grow them cause we have too many trees and no sun to shine through. Those fried green tomatoes may be your answer. You have great luck with the flowers though!
