Walks and Hikes and Cousins

My weekend started out like this....
A walk past all the pretty summer blooms.
Stanzie checks out this new variety, Gaillardia 'Mesa Yellow'.
...and Sunflowers in lots of colors and sizes.

Sunday, we went to Cousin Cate's house!
Cousin Cate took us on a hike up the Wildwood Trail.
It's nice there in the shady woods.
Then, we went back to Cate's place for more fun and pizza!
I brought my favorite squeaky ball to show Cate.
I let her play with it and everything, because that is the kind of dog I am...BOL!
Cate let me play with her Snoopy Stuffie and I didn't even rip it apart.
(A new personal best for me!)
Look! I think she is finally getting tired!!

    Wyatt I think it is super that you let your Cussin Cate play with your ball... butt mostly that you didn't rip the guts out of her stuffie. DARN Buddy... that takes so MAJOR restraint. I am SURE she appreciated it.
    I guess you tapped your Inner Strength.
    I was thinkin about you today... mom was peeling and slicing a BRIGHT RED Tomato.
    How are yours coming along? Well, I HOPE.

    I love to play with my cousins....we get up all kinds of strife! We especially like barking together at anything and everything! The peeps don't like that....he he he

    As a matter of fact we are having a play day right now!

    Cate looks terrific and you even managed a lovely walk.....but my fav event was the PIZZA eatin'!!!

    We have never seen different colored sunflowers - only the bright yellow ones. Love that orange one - so pretty for late summer/fall.

    Sure looks like you and Cate have lots of fun together. A tired pup is a good pup, or so they say.
