While it has been in the upper 60's at Cooper Spur, Mount Hood, Oregon and they are skiing in their skivies,
Down here at 380 feet above sea level, we are having an In'Fur'sion!
An eerie freezing fog, that has lasted for days.
We have 'fur-like' ice on the south side of everything.
I'm trying to wrap my furry head around how this can be??
Wyatt
Now that is really WEIRD! And here we were breaking all the January records with temps in the 90's. Mother Nature is mad at us!
ReplyDeleteA while back you did a post on preserving a banana tree over the winter. Do you happen to remember when that was? We want to try and grow banana trees again and not lose them every winter. It should be easy in Central Florida, but one cold night and it's goodbye banana tree!
That fog sure makes for such beautiful photos. And what's up with those crazy humans in their skiveees. What happens when they fall down?
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Wow - that is pretty cool - I know the year before we moved here they had a huge ice storm that left this area without power for 3 weeks! Some of the pictures we have seen from that time look a lot like yours with lots of strange ice things. It does make for some pawsome photos!
