Wyatt reviews his new ToughHound All Sports ID collar from
Hey dogs!
If you are like me, you have had some bad dreams.....
Noooooo...wooooo...No No!
Nightmares of being behind bars,
Nightmares of bath times that never end.
But, by far.....the worst nightmare is being lost and separated from my family!!
Wake up!!
It's just a DREAM!!
Thanks to http://www.dogbarkcollar.com/toughhound
My nightmares are over!
I have a microchip, but what if I'm lost and my finders do not know about my microchip. I used to have an ID tag, but I lost it...
With my new handsome ToughHound collar. Everyone will know my name and know that I have a family that loves me and know that there are two phone numbers to call, to reach my family!!
I ordered my collar in manly brown. But, it comes in 8 colors. Maybe I will order my sister, Stanzie a bright pink one!
It's 1" wide and the ID plate is really big, so you can easily see it, even with all my curly fur.
The ToughHound All Sports is a personalized collar, that lets you display the dog's name and address.
The collar is made from a highly durable polycoated nylon-webbing. This makes the collar maintenance free and will give you many years of rough and tumble with your pup. The Toughhound is designed to handle outdoor play, hunting and long training sessions. The collar can tolerate extreme cold and heat. The ToughHound non-porous surface drys quickly, will never absorb offensive odors and makes removing mud just a wipe away.
The collar features an integrated stainless steel laser-engraved nameplate. The advantage of the integrated nameplate is that it won’t jingle or fall from its ring, but it is also permanently attached to the collar band, so you can never switch out the nameplate or the collar band and instead need to replace the entire unit.
Increase your statistics of finding your way home!
Microchip and ID
The statistics indicate that missing pets rarely make it home:
• The American Humane Association estimates over 10 million dogs and cats are lost or stolen in the U.S. every year.
• One in three pets will become lost at some point during their life.
A study published in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association, including 53 animal shelters across the U.S., confirmed the high rate of return of microchipped dogs and cats to their families, and the importance of microchip registration. From the study:
• Only about 22 percent of lost dogs that entered the animal shelters were reunited with their families. However, the return-to-owner rate for microchipped dogs was over 52 percent (a 238 percent increase).
• Less than 2 percent of lost cats that entered the animal shelters were reunited with their families. The return-to-owner rate for microchipped cats was dramatically higher at over 38 percent (more than 2000 percent better).
Dog O Dog, that is a load off my terrier brain!
Now, I can sleep at night and no more bad dreams!
Wyatt
That is a good end to your nightmares Wyatt. And you for sure should get Stanzie one too.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
You really look so snazzy in your new collar. And safe too!
ReplyDeletePeeS....Mom thanks you fur the information on the banana tree. Now they just have to find one that's HARDY and try it out!
That is a great idea - you know even though are we both micro chipped - I don't think we have been to a single vet that has checked it - apart from the one that put them in. We actually never a collar unless we go out - it's a bad habit but normal collars cause all kinds of knots in our fur - the only ones that work for us are rolled collars and they never do those with nifty name plates.
ReplyDeletePawsome collar Wyatt. That is really a pukka one pal. Now you will never have to worry about being lost. Have a marvelous Monday.
ReplyDeletebest wishes Molly
That collar looks great Wyatt. Smart, robust and functional. I cannot imagine how horrible it would be to lose Gail, although sometimes I do run off into the woods and it takes a while to find her again. I have a microchip and a tag with Gail's mobile phone number one it. Which is fine for the days she remembers to carry her mobile...
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie,
Good looking AND functional! Thanks, Wyatt. We're gonna have mom check those out!
